About this skill
Hotel Deal Verification
Every run goes back online to read the latest hotel promotions, checks booking, stay and redemption windows, then reports which bookings and room vouchers can still be bought right now — and what changed since the last run. Built for travellers who want a quick answer to "which deals are still alive", and for assistants that track flash sales, coupons and vouchers over time.
Every conclusion carries its check time. When the evidence is thin, it returns zero deals instead of filling the list with old low prices.
When to use it
- You want to know which hotel flash sales, room vouchers and coupons are currently joinable.
- You have a concrete trip and need deals filtered by city, dates, party size, membership tier and budget.
- You looked at a batch of promotions before and need to know which ones ended or changed terms.
What it does
- Re-enumerates the worksheets and announcements in the Xiaocaiji Tencent Doc on every run, so newly added and renamed sheets are picked up.
- Checks booking, stay, redemption and registration windows separately, so a stay deadline is never mistaken for a purchase deadline.
- Keeps cash paid, coupon cost and deduction, confirmed cashback, points and their valuation, hotel credits and lucky draws in separate buckets; a discount already inside the platform price is never deducted twice.
- Sorts results into verified-bookable, candidate within the rules, needs confirmation, and ended / not started / not currently on sale, keeping both sides of the evidence when sources conflict.
- Stores the evidence gathered this run and compares rules and prices against the previous report; anything not re-read this run is marked "not re-checked" rather than dropped.
How it works
- You describe the trip (city, check-in and check-out dates, party size, budget, membership tier) or simply ask for the latest deals. When details are missing, it first returns the promotions that are still open, then asks only for the fields needed to compare prices.
- The skill reads the source document, follows the promotion entries it currently links to, then verifies deadlines, eligibility and prices against the hotel group's or platform's public rules and sales pages. Interactive browsing runs in a separate background space; logins and captchas are handed back to you.
- Results are delivered sorted by fit and verifiable net cost, with new items, changes and anything not re-checked this run called out.
What you provide
- The trip details you want checked (optional — without them you get open promotions first).
- Optional extra sources: your own documents, promotion links or blogger entries, which take priority over the defaults.
- A runtime with Python 3.9 or newer, a working Ego browser with the
ego-browserskill, and macOS or Linux.
When no WeChat data source is connected, it does not claim to have read the latest messages from WeChat groups.
What you get
- A report for this run listing promotions and hotels, city, booking deadline, stay or redemption range, cash price and estimated value, conditions and membership tier, plus source links.
- Archived evidence for the run, and a record of changes to compare against on the next run.
- Records are written by default to
酒店优惠研究/追踪记录inside the project, falling back to酒店优惠追踪, or to a directory you specify.
Usage examples
Refresh the latest hotel deals and show what can still be booked or bought right now.
Check Hangzhou, next Friday to Sunday, 2 adults, Marriott Gold, under CNY 600 per night.
Notes
- Read-only: it does not place orders, pay, submit order numbers or WeChat IDs, or enter lucky draws.
- A link that opens, a sheet titled "updated daily", a healthy short-link status or a very low advertised price are not proof of availability.
- Points cost is not a cash price, hotel credits are not cashback, and unconfirmed cashback or draws never reduce the confirmed cost.
- Each run refreshes that run only; it creates no scheduled jobs and sends no notifications, so it is not the same as continuous background monitoring.
- The default source is a third-party maintained Tencent Doc whose permissions and content may change; this skill does not represent the document's author, the hotel groups or the booking platforms.
